Description of Duties
The Lodge is situated in Gauteng (outskirts of Pretoria) in a tranquil setting at the foot of the Magalies Berg. The Lodge offers accommodation (16 rooms), restaurant facilities, wedding and conference facilities and spa treatments. The Lodge seeks to appoint a Lodge Manager or a Management Couple to manage all operations including reservations, check-in/check-out, guest relations, event co-ordination and management, wedding co-ordination and management, housekeeping, food and beverage services, spa, stock-control, financial management and reporting, maintenance, staff management and compliance with relevant regulations. Live-in benefits are offered to the Lodge Manager or Management Couple.
Qualifications
Previous Management experience in a Lodge or Boutique Hotel is a requirement. Previous experience in wedding co-ordination and management will be an advantage Hands-on involvement with the maintenance of buildings, equipment, water and electricity supply, roads and fencing may be expected.
