Description of Duties
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive to join our team at a leading 4-star hotel in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving corporate sales by identifying, developing, and maintaining relationships with business clients. This role requires a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and is passionate about exceeding targets. Key Responsibilities: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the corporate market segment. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing corporate clients to ensure repeat business. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets. Conduct regular client visits, presentations, and site inspections. Collaborate with the reservations and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and client feedback to adjust strategies accordingly. Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in CRM systems. Job Requirements: Proven experience in a hotel sales role, preferably within the 4- or 5-star segment. Strong knowledge of the South African corporate market. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Professional appearance and demeanor.
Qualifications
Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in hotel sales, with a focus on corporate accounts. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel property management/CRM systems. Valid driver’s license and own transport is advantageous.
