Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items in your designated section with consistency and attention to detail.
Assist in the development of new dishes and menus.
Ensure all mise en place is completed before service.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of your station.
Follow kitchen procedures, food safety regulations, and hygiene standards at all times.
Communicate effectively with other kitchen and service staff.
Support senior chefs with training and supervision of kitchen staff as needed.
Participate in stock control, deliveries, and inventory checks.
Minimise waste and contribute to efficient kitchen operations.
Qualifications
Culinary qualification or equivalent practical experience.
Previous experience in a professional kitchen environment preferred.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Good time management and organisational skills
