Vacancy for an assistant manager reporting to the managing director in a fast pace upscale restaurant and retail outlet in Swellendam.
Responsibilities include the day-to-day running of the establishment:
Supervision of front-of-house staff;
Ensuring superior customer services;
Supervision of kitchen;
Daily cash handling and cash ups;
Maintenance of retail space and stock control;
Opening and closing of establishment
Working over weekends, public holidays and school holidays
Qualifications
4+ years sit-down restaurant and retail management experience
A relevant diploma or degree in hospitality will be an advantage
Computer literacy, including general POS systems
Good leadership, motivational and people skills
Fluent in English and Afrikaans. Other languages will be an advantage
Own vehicle and a valid drivers licence
